EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
In an emergency situation all gates will be locked to assure student security. Parents or designated persons wishing to pick up students, must report to the Request Gate on Mayall St. to complete a student release form. You will be asked to show identification. Parents should then proceed to the Reunion Gate on Gerald Ave. to meet students. Following verification of the emergency card, students will be released. We believe that in an emergency, schools are the safest place for our children. The staff has been trained to handle emergency situations and provide students the care and shelter they will need. We want to assure you that the safety of the students will be our highest priority in any emergency. Please be advised that students will be released only to the person that is on the emergency card.
PLEASE UPDATE YOUR EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION WITH SCHOOL WHEN IT CHANGES.

Earthquake Preparation
Mayall Academy has a clearly defined emergency plan in the event that there is an earthquake.Each classroom has an emergency backpack. There is also a schoolwide cargo container with additional emergency supplies. Each student is encouraged to submit a Comfort Kit which will be housed in the classroom and transported to the evacuation area in case of emergency. Information on the Comfort Kits will be sent home with each student at the beginning of the school year.
